Abstract
Results of analysis and simulation of the sliding-mode control of a Cuk converter are presented. To control the output voltage, the converter dynamics are forced to slide over the surface corresponding to the constant input current. After the equivalent control is obtained, the coordinates of the equilibrium points are derived. Perturbation effects due to disturbances in the load or in the input voltage can be considerably attenuated by transforming the constant surface into a time-varying one
