Abstract :
The transfer function of an a.c. phase-advance demodulating compensating network is shown to be described by a biquadratic transfer function. The null point in the frequency characteristic is shown to be related to the reference-carrier excitation, thus allowing the network to be automatically tuned to the carrier frequency of an a.c. servomechanism.
