Abstract :
A method for adjusting large multielement, aerial arrays is described. Calibrating signals are transmitted to the array elements in each direction in turn along a ring transmission line. With this procedure, gain and phase shift can be compared between elements without determining the length or attenuation of the calibration-signal feeder.
