  • Abstract
    The small-signal impedance between the electrodes of an ionisation chamber is studied over a range of frequency and ionisation. The impedance is approximately that of an equivalent circuit which has one RC combination for each group of ions in the chamber. More accurate formulas are given. Experimental results support the theory.
