  • Abstract
    A new pump stabilisation scheme is used to pump an erbium-doped fibre coil bidirectionally at 980 nm. Operating conditions to lock the wavelength of a non-stabilised 980 nm pump laser using external injection from a grating stabilised laser are discussed.
