Investment is the key to sweden´s foundry automation: introduction

Sweden´s foundry industry is technically one of the most advanced in Europe, despite growing problems in the country´s economy. Recently, the Swedish Trade Commission organised a seminar in London to discuss the problems of air pollution, automation and energy consumption in Sweden and to show the advances made by its foundries over the past few years. The following reports are based on papers prepared for the seminar.
