  • Abstract
    It is shown that there exist bounded-input bounded-output (BIBO) stable 2-D filter transfer functions having simple nonessential singularities of the second kind on T2, that also admit BIBO stable inverses. A class of such functions is obtained. Another class of BIBO stable 2-D functions that cannot have BIBO stable inverses is also characterized
