Abstract :
The extraction of the poles of noisy rational signals is considered. The continuation method is used (predictor-corrector algorithm) to regularise an ill-conditioned least squares problem. Two new variants to carry out the correction stage are proposed. Some examples showing the improvements of these variants, with respect to computational cost and convergence, are presented.
