Abstract
Pole sensitivities of an n.i.c.-RC structure and a gyrator amplifier loaded by capacitors are compared. It is shown that, in principle, the gyrator network will be better if a high Q factor is wanted. N.I.C.s may be suitable too, but the Q factor must be restricted to values of about 10¿20.
