Abstract :
State-of-the-art PC software for analyzing industrial and commercial electric power systems is surveyed. The most prominent commercially available software packages are analyzed. The result is a basis for determining the available capabilities and suitability for specific applications. Both power flow analysis and fault current analysis are covered.<>
