  • Abstract
    This letter deals with the propagation of coupled electromagnetic, electron-acoustic and ion-acoustic waves in a horizontally stratified horizontally magnetised compressible electron--ion plasma. Propagation transverse to the magneto-static field is considered, and some first-order coupled-wave equations are derived.
