Resonant-cavity technique for the measurement of leaky-wave complex propagation coefficients

A resonant-cavity technique for the measurement of k/ß diagrams (dispersion relations) of leaky-wave structures is discussed. Theoretical calculations and measured results are presented for a specific structure of the class of leaky-wave structures considered. The extension of this technique to more general smooth and periodic structures is indicated.
