Types of negative-immittance-convertor circuits

Steimel developed two vacuum-tube circuits from which he deduced the S- and N-type negative resistance, respectively. Many papers have subsequently been published in which special n.i.c. circuits are discussed. It is shown that these n.i.c. circuits are not different in principle, and can be deduced from one basic n.i.c. circuit.
