Abstract
The static characteristics of transistors can be exhibited by two surfaces in three-dimensional (3D) space. Models of these surfaces are shown for a 2N1304 germanium junction transistor. The usual family of characteristics can be obtained from the operating surfaces, and these are also shown for the 2N1304.
