  • Abstract
    An oscillating circuit with nonlinear capacitance in a free oscillating régime is examined. Assuming that the circuit has small losses and high Q factor, a formula is obtained for the envelope of the free oscillations which differs from the exponential. The greater the influence of the nonlinear element the greater is this difference. Satisfactory coincidence of theoretical with experimental results is obtained.
