  • Abstract
    It is shown that the noise threshold of PSK systems may be improved by using certain nonlinear detectors together with exalted carriers in the receiver. In a practical exalted-carrier RWM-PSK system, a threshold improvement of 4¿5dB has been obtained by using biased and saturated envelope detectors.
