Abstract :
Preliminary results of measurements of optical detection in bar-shaped bulk samples of Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-Cu-O at wavelengths of 504, 632, and 820 nm are presented. At 77 K, a roughly logarithmic decay of response with increasing modulation frequency of a GaAs laser (820 nm) was found. A much higher responsivity was observed at 504 nm than at either 632 or 820 nm
