Abstract :
The instability threshold for the excitation of synchronous spin waves in antiferromagnetic resonance is calculated for an arbitrary anisotropy surface in the flopped configuration. The approach follows the canonical formulation applied to ferromagnets by Schlömann, and the coupling mechanisms considered are provided by exchange and anisotropy energies.
