Abstract :
This is the first issue of the Transactions of the IRE Professional Group on Microwave Theory and Techniques. The Group´s publication policy is explained in the News and Notes Section of this issue. Future issues of the Transactions will publish papers submitted to the Group for publication and papers given at symposia. The Transactions will be devoted exclusively to the microwave field and will strive to completely cover the fields of interest of the PGMTT.
