Over the past two decades, IEEE Technology and Society Magazine (T&S) has garnered more than a dozen awards for editorial excellence, often partly in recognition of achieving its stated purpose. These are straightforward aims. Yet some of the publications´ early years, were not so straightforward, and rather were filled with considerable ferment.
