Abstract
In the overall planning of a microwave system the propagation experts must work in conjunction with the site development engineers. The site development group will require the services of civil and mechanical engineering consultants. These people should operate together in choosing each and every site so that propagation versus site development economics can be compared at every step. For the purpose of this symposium the two problems will be discussed separately.
