Abstract :
On 21 April 2008, I spoke to a meeting of the IEEE Oregon Section at Portland State University. 35 attended, of whom 15 were IEEE members and three AES members. Many of the attendees and students were rocket enthusiasts who launch single-stage rockets to high altitude from the eastern Oregon desert. The university exhibits some of their recovered rockets and electronic payloads.
