Abstract :
A model for calculating high fluence SGEMP current drivers for individual wires within a gapless multiconductor cable is presented. The model accounts for prompt radiation induced conductivity in the enhanced dose regions. A 7-wire cable is considered by way of example, and the importance of both radiation induced conductivity effects and bulk current contributions as a function of fluence are discussed.
