  • Abstract
    In order to minimise the harmful influence of the ground reflections on antenna-pattern measurements, diffraction fences are frequently used. This letter treats the diffraction of the direct wave radiated by a directional antenna. The analysis is based on the Kirchhoff¿Fresnel approximation of the diffracted field.
