Abstract
A neural A/D converter that avoids the incorrect conversion of the Hopfield A/D is proposed. The converter proposed is noteworthy for its conversion speed as it relates to its size. The conversion procedure is based on a theorem, included in this paper, which starts with a suggestion by M.J.S. Smith and C.L. Portmann (1989) related to the study of the Hopfield neural network by means of Schmitt triggers
