  • Abstract
    It is shown that, for delay ratios less than ¿¿1 (where ¿1 is the transverse component of the equivalent permittivity tensor), the forward-wave plasma-guide mode on a longitudinally magnetised plasma column changes its field distribution from that of a bulk wave to one typical for surface waves.
