Abstract :
From our experience we have found the structure of the modeling programs for the Damping Ring can easily be extended to other SLC systems. We have demonstrated this possibility in extending it to the LTR model control programs by substituting the orbit correction procedure with a trajectory correction procedure. At present, a general trajectory/orbit analysis and correction program, GIANT8, is being developed for this purpose while this structure of model driven control is being generalized for any SLC system.
