Recovery of random data from additive noise using real-time correlation of probability functions

A method of random-data detection applicable to cases of low-voltage signal/noise ratios is described. The characteristics of noise, with and without the signal present, are discussed, and an outline of the detection principle and the practical detection system is given. System performance is considered.
