Abstract
Integrated packages of computer programs that support specific electric utility engineering functions, known as electrical systems workstations (ESWorkstations), and their integration with utility-developed software are discussed. Various suggestions for making ESWorkstations more useful are examined. A built-in expert advisor, MENTOR, and the use of open systems architecture for workstations are discussed
