Functional spaces in Lyapunov´s direct method for a class of partial differential equations

Quadratic Lyapunov functionals taken on the Hilbert space for the telegrapher´s equation do not exhibit the effect of neutron-wave propagation, whereas functionals taken on the product space do exhibit the effect of neutron waves.
