Abstract :
The state of object oriented application techniques is particularly troubling given that their deployment is being considered in relatively large applications and within large application-development organizations. GTE Telephone Operations is one such organization. The paper discusses how GTE has been working to reengineer its software development methods so that object-oriented application development will be feasible and repeatable for large applications
