Abstract :
An upper limit on the adaptation rate of an adaptive control algorithm when there exists model order mismatch is given. Under the condition that an operator H2 is strictly positive real (SPR), the adaptive control algorithm is stable for a sufficient small estimation rate ∈. An upper limit for ∈ is explicitly given
