Abstract
Selftimed circuits are of interest because they allow the construction of circuits which operate without a global clock and hence can perform at close to average speed rather than the worst-case speed of synchronous circuits. A method for designing selftimed circuits is presented. For functions where there are more than two inputs, the method offers reduced hardware complexity.
