Abstract :
A new design for corner mirrors with 45 degrees deflection angle for integrated optics is demonstrated. The mirrors have been fabricated on an InP/InGaAsP single heterostructure. The losses are as low as 0.3 dB per comer mirror. The fabrication process is described and is compatible with the fabrication of integrated optic devices.
