Abstract
The gain characteristics of a dielectric resonator loaded coaxial fed circular waveguide antenna (DRLWA) with overlaying parasitic discs have been investigated experimentally. Results indicate that, when properly spaced, the overlays can enhance the gain by more than 6 dB.
