Abstract
The optimization of compact C-band corrugated horns to replace an existing C-band feed system while maintaining the overall G/T/sub A/ performance of the associated Cassegrain antenna is presented. G (dBi) is the gain of the antenna and T/sub A/ (K) is the antenna temperature. The cost-saving over the original system is discussed.
