Abstract
An LiNbO3 waveguide SHG device for blue light generation by first order quasiphase-matching was fabricated using the electron-beam scanning domain inversion technique for the first time. The period of the domain-inverted grating was 3 mu m and blue light of wavelength 0.44 mu m was obtained. The normalised SHG efficiency was 70%/W.
