  • Abstract
    A novel positive feedback controlled loop that consists of a GaAs photoconductor, a polarizer, and a Pockels cell has been used to select a single longitudinal mode, instead of using other special selecting elements such as a Fabry-Perot etalon or a resonant output coupler. A very stable and reliable single longitudinal mode Q-switched oscillator has been developed
