Abstract :
A stimulated emission at 1.25 μm has been studied under excitation of potassium vapor via a K(4S→5S ) magnetic-dipole transition. A chain mechanism of amplification, including a magnetic-dipole Raman scattering (M1-RS) and an electric-dipole four-wave parametric emission (E1-FWPE), has been introduced to model this emission
