Abstract
A stimulated emission at 1.25 μm has been studied under excitation of potassium vapor via a K (4S →5S ) magnetic-dipole transition. A chain mechanism of amplification, including a magnetic-dipole Raman scattering (M 1-RS) and an electric-dipole four-wave parametric emission (E 1-FWPE), has been introduced to model this emission
