Abstract :
In this letter, we propose a novel power allocation scheme among transmit antennas to combat channel fading in orthogonal space-time block code systems based on the metric, amount of fading, which can be used to evaluate the severity of channel fading. Simulation results show that the proposed method can improve the fading-combating performance of orthogonal space-time block code systems significantly.
