The upward struggle of the microwave engineer [Cartoon]

Editor\´s Note: To understand what is going on in "The Upward Struggle of the Microwave Engineer," one must understand Perfumed Pig Gas and Janelle. Perfumed Pig Gas was developed by Bo and Leary in past issues of the MTT Society Newsletter and IEEE Microwave Magazine. Unfortunately (or fortunately), all but two columns of Bo and Leary have been lost. [If you have any of the lost columns, please send them to microwave.editor@ieee.org]. Janelle had nothing to do with Perfumed Pig Gas. She is a student of art and humor. One of Janelle\´s theories is that poorly drawn comics that aren\´t funny will appeal to humor-impaired microwave engineers.
