Abstract :
This issue of the IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits reports recent advances in integrated logic and memory circuitry. Many of the papers in this issue are expanded versions of work originally presented at the 1980 International Solid-State Circuits Conference held last February in San Francisco, CA. In the logic area, development activities of the recent past continue to be directed at evolutionary improvements of both device technology and logic circuit form. These, in turn, are providing improvements in power-delay performance, functional density, and complexity. All of the logic papers included in this issue reflect these thrusts.
