Abstract :
An Animation DRAM (ARAM) is presented that meets the high bandwidth requirements of memory in computer games and animation. On-chip bit block transfer (bitBit) units provide internal block data transfer to support scrolling background and sprite animation. The chip is designed in 0.35 μm CMOS for a 3.3 V power supply
