Title :
Bibliography on engineering economics, 1970 - 1985
Abstract :
The material included in this bibliography is designed to acquaint the engineer with the extensive body of material on the subject of engineering economics that is available in general publications, publications of the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), the IEEE, other engineering socities, technical journals and periodicals. Since the first bibliography on engineering economics was compiled by the Working Group in 1969, many databases have been established containing extensive references to articles and publicatLons on engineering economics. After the Working Group compiled the list of articles and books to be included in the current bibliography, several data bases were accessed to determine the key words needed to find all of the publications given in the list. The first part of this current bilbiography lists the databases that were accessed and the key words used to obtain the references compiled by the Working Group members. The remainder of this paper lists books and articles which are of special interest to power engineers. The Working Group does not advocate one engineering economics methodology over another. The intent of this bibliography is to introduce the engineer to a wide range of engineering economics methodologies used within the electric power industry.
