Abstract :
The authors acknowledge the comments made by Dai and Shi (see ibid., p.717-19, 2006) and for pointing out two omissions in their paper (Arslan and Basar) (see ibid., vol.47, no.10, p.1754-8, 2002). They outline the corrections along the lines suggested: 1. The unknown parameter θ in the system dynamics must be constant. 2. In one of the equations, the terms inside the boxes that were inadvertently omitted in the backstepping design presented by Arslan and Basar (2002) must be included.
