Impact, outreach, connections [President´s Message]

I am anticipating this issue´s deadline for my column as I fly back from San Juan, Puerto Rico, after attending the first meeting of the 2009 IEEE Technical Activities Board (TAB). San Juan, as an aside, is the second-oldest European-established city in the Americas (and if you´re the kind of trivia buff who wants to know what´s the first one, the answer can be found below!).
