Abstract :
In order to obtain high accuracy in quantitative values obtained with positron emission tomography, various corrections have to be applied to the data prior to the image reconstruction. In this work each of these correction factors is described and experimental data valid for the 4 ring positron camera at the Karolinska Hospital, Stockholm, are presented.
