  • Abstract
    A fast time digitizer has been designed specifically for the positional read-out of X-ray detectors, using delay-lines. The system is based on a combination of a high speed time to amplitude converter and a flash-ADC. Time resolutions down to 40 psec have been achieved. Conversion times are as low as 50 nsec. Measurements of differential non-linearity are discussed.
