Abstract :
Experiences on the use of a closed-cycle cryogenic refrigerator in cooling a small high-purity Ge gamma-ray detector are described. An anti-vibration mount to reduce the effect of the cold head vibration on the obtainable FWHM energy resolution of the gamma-ray spectrometer is shown.
