Abstract :
Dual-mode horns have been built and tested at 230 GHz and in the range 460¿¿510 GHz. In particular, attention has been paid to the phase difference between the two modes, resulting in horns that have good Gaussian beams for use in quasioptical systems, and a usable bandwidth of more than 6% at the higher frequency.
